Turtle Knievel

We thought Taylor learned her lesson when she injured herself toilet repelling last month. Whenever she climbs or does something dangerous, we say “no, Taylor, you’ll get a boo boo.” And she gets down, points to her face where the scar is and says “boo boo.” Sounds like she learned the lesson, right? NO. She went sky diving on Monday night. Without a chute. She took a head first dive off of our ottoman onto our hardwood floors. Fortunately, after 48 hours of surveillance per the doctor’s request, no damage was done. This time. But, from now on, she will be wearing a football helmet with a face mask at all times. At least, this way, Turtle Knievel can walk away from her stunts without injuries to her beautiful noggin. I’m sure she’ll find a way to injure her limbs next. And I’m not sure I can find a cute pink full-body cast.
