Where's Your Birfday?
Today is Daddy's special day -- his birthday! This morning, Taylor did not want to get out of bed, no matter what bribe Jimmy offered, so he asked me to give it a shot. So, I went into her room, leaned down and whispered "Guess what? It's Daddy's birthday!" Taylor's face lit up (we all know how much she LOVES birthdays). She shot up, spit her paci onto the bed and jumped into my arms. She leaped down and took off running into the kitchen. When she saw Daddy, she said "Daddy, it's your birfday!" To which Jimmy responded "Yes, it is!" As Taylor looked around the kitchen, she asked in confusion "Where's your birfday? Where's your presents?" Jimmy explained that he's too old for presents. Poor Daddy. So, because we are doing our best to save money these days, we have to opt for the free gifts, like this little "thank you".Our Jimmy/Daddy is the BEST because
he is the best milkshake maker in the world
he is a true Southern boy
he wore cowboy boots in every portrait until highschool
he loves his family more than life itself
he loves his Saviour
he would do anything for any animal or child
he is the best bug-killer
he can make you laugh so hard you'll cry
he, like my Dad, also had a pencil thin mustache
he cooks
he wears Christmas boxers in April
he eats liver mush outside so I don't barf
he learns from his mistakes
he has no regrets
he is an awesome judge of character
he has walked into numerous screen doors
he is a listener
he is patient
he is kind
his love has never ever waivered
he makes the best M&M pancakes
he shamelessly helped with dance practice, coining the "Jimmy Shimmy"
he can make anything into a song
he is the best leg scratcher
he knows every Cops episode by heart
he doesn't watch sports
he can fix anything
he brings peace to our life
he wants his family to be happy more than anything in the world
he is trustworthy, and
he loves and loves to be loved.
Happy birthday, Daddy. We love you!
